Another show is coming up fast, so I'm scrambling to get some pieces done for it. The show is called Near Dark, and it's all about art that works under a black light. Luckily, several of the pieces I've been planning utilize fluorescent or luminescent pigments, so this is a great excuse to play with those mediums. I hope to have a variety of pieces in this show, and I hope to develop some of them into products I can sell at future events.
So far I've completed a Papel Picado memorializing Joey Ramone,
And I'm about to begin production on a piece called "Flamengo II"
I'm still thinking of new pieces for this and future shows, so there will be more to come soon!
